Based in Beaverton, Oregon, NIKE, Inc. includes Nike, Converse and Jordan Brands. Originally known as Blue Ribbon Sports, the sportswear company was founded in 1964 by Bill Bowerman and Phil Knight and later became Nike in 1971.
